So here is the deal…If you enjoy sushi and love live music, I have found the spot for you. Maxan Sushi and Jazz incorporates both of these options in one spot. Located on the corner of Flamingo and Decatur you are just a quick drive away from the Las Vegas Strip. The menu is not overwhelming like you find at most sushi places. A handfull of salad options and Miso soup are offered for appetizers. One noodle dish is offered and entree selections include Wagyu, Filet Mignon, Cod and Garlic Shrimp. The Yellowtail and Smoked Salmon Nigiri came out looking fresh and tasted perfectly delicious. We had three rolls, Rainbow, Shrimp Tempura and Salmon Avacado. We were not dissapointed with any part of our meal. Sunday nights is when you can catch the fabulous Moonshiners performing their jazz versions of popular songs that everyone will know. Maxan offers live music almost everyday of the week so be sure to check the entertainment lineup. Have a great night out with two things you love, fresh delicious sushi and live music.
